What’s New?
Sometimes the idea for a new product is so obvious that it’s surprising we didn’t think of it sooner. Using the same Chestnut American Bridle Leather that we use for trim and handles on our Vintage Tweed and Perforated Leather Suitcases we decided to try making an entire luggage from that same bridal leather. Of course, this isn’t as easy as it looks. But with our own Corey Phillips, an expert on vintage luggage and a master leather worker, anything is possible. Although still not in production here are some photos of the prototype. Our Vintage Tweed Luggage is styled as a 1930’s piece. This is styled as a post-war late forties or early 1950’s piece. We call it the “1948.”
